Secure Virtual Consultations for Florida Patients

Personalized Telehealth Care for Patients in Florida

Meet with a licensed medical provider from the privacy and convenience of home.

Our Florida telehealth practice provides personalized consultations for hormone therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, GLP-1 options, and other eligible medical services.

Your care begins with a conversation about your concerns, medical history, previous experiences, and personal goals.

How May We Help?

What Would You Like to Discuss?

You do not need to know which therapy or program you need before contacting us.

Start by choosing the area that most closely matches your questions. A licensed provider will review your health information and determine which next step may be appropriate.

Personal Care From Real Providers

Telehealth Should Still Feel Personal

Virtual care should not make you feel disconnected from the people responsible for your health.

Ashley Atkins is a primary patient-facing provider at Restore MD. She works directly with patients to understand their concerns, review relevant medical information, explain available options, and coordinate follow-up care.

Ashley Atkins is supported by Dr. Jon Kimball and Dr. Paige Lindberg, a husband-and-wife physician team.

Together, the providers offer patients a clear and accountable medical team. You will know who is involved in your care and who is responsible for reviewing your information.

Our practice is not an anonymous provider marketplace or an open medication storefront. New patients must complete an appropriate consultation and medical review before prescription therapy can be considered.  ,

What to Expect

Your Telehealth Care Journey

Your care follows a clear, consultation-first process. Each step may vary based on your medical needs and the service you are exploring.

Not every patient will need laboratory testing or qualify for prescription therapy. Your provider will determine the appropriate steps based on your individual evaluation.

Understanding Virtual Care

What Can Telehealth Help You Do?

Telehealth allows eligible patients to communicate with a licensed provider without traveling to a medical office for every appointment.

Through secure virtual consultations, you may be able to:

  • Discuss symptoms, questions, and personal goals
  • Review relevant medical history
  • Discuss current medications and supplements
  • Receive laboratory testing instructions
  • Review laboratory results with a provider
  • Learn about medically appropriate options
  • Complete eligible follow-up appointments
  • Discuss possible side effects or concerns
  • Review your progress with your provider
  • Use the patient portal as an established patient

The services available through telehealth depend on your location, medical needs, provider licensing, and whether virtual care is appropriate for the concern being evaluated.

Knowing When Other Care Is Needed

What Does Telehealth Not Replace?

Telehealth is a convenient option, but it is not appropriate for every medical situation.

Telehealth does not replace:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Every physical examination
  • Laboratory testing that must be completed in person
  • Imaging or medical procedures
  • Care that requires an in-person specialist
  • An appropriate medical evaluation
  • A prescription when therapy is not medically appropriate

Your provider may recommend an in-person examination, laboratory visit, imaging center, urgent care clinic, specialist, or another type of medical service.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.

Testing When Appropriate

What Happens If You Need Blood Work?

Telehealth does not mean that every part of your care takes place online.

Your provider may order blood work when it is medically appropriate. Laboratory testing can provide additional information that helps your provider evaluate your health and consider available options.

When testing is ordered, you will receive a laboratory requisition that can be taken to an approved laboratory, such as Labcorp or another registered laboratory.

A licensed provider will review your available results and consider them alongside your symptoms, health history, current medications, and personal goals.

Blood work alone does not determine whether you need a particular therapy.

A Convenient Option for Many Patients

Could Telehealth Be Right for You?

Telehealth may be a convenient option when you:

  • Are located in Florida at the time of your appointment
  • Prefer to speak with a provider from home
  • Have a private place for your consultation
  • Can use a smartphone, tablet, or computer
  • Have a reliable internet connection
  • Can participate in a video visit when required
  • Are able to complete outside laboratory testing when needed
  • Understand that some concerns require in-person care

This checklist does not determine whether you qualify for a particular service or therapy.

A licensed provider will determine whether telehealth is appropriate based on your location, medical needs, and individual circumstances.

Personalized Medical and Wellness Support

Services You Can Explore With Our Medical Team

Hormone Therapy
01

Hormone Therapy

Hormone levels may change over time and may affect how some patients feel. Our providers evaluate hormone-related concerns based on the patient’s symptoms, medical history, current medications, and laboratory results when appropriate.

Men’s Hormone Therapy and TRT
02

Men’s Hormone Therapy and TRT

Men may request a consultation to discuss changes in energy, concentration, sexual wellness, strength, or other possible low testosterone concerns. Symptoms alone cannot confirm low testosterone. Laboratory testing and an individual medical evaluation are required before testosterone therapy may be considered.

Women’s Hormone Therapy
03

Women’s Hormone Therapy

Women may request a consultation to discuss concerns related to perimenopause, menopause, hot flashes, sleep, vaginal comfort, sexual wellness, or other hormone-related changes. Your provider will determine whether hormone therapy or another option may be appropriate.

Peptide Therapy
04

Peptide Therapy

Peptide therapy is a broad category that may include different products with different uses, evidence, risks, and regulatory status. Your provider will review your questions, medical history, current medications, and the specific therapy being considered.

Medical Weight Loss
05

Medical Weight Loss

Our medical weight-loss consultations consider the individual patient rather than offering one standard program. When medically appropriate, your provider may discuss prescription options, including available GLP-1 medications.

Before Your Consultation

How to Prepare for Your First Telehealth Visit

A little preparation can help you feel more comfortable and make better use of your time with the provider.

Before your appointment:

  • Complete any requested forms
  • Gather a list of current medications and supplements
  • Keep previous laboratory results available
  • Write down your main questions and concerns
  • Choose a quiet and private location
  • Check your internet connection
  • Test your camera and microphone
  • Keep your identification nearby
  • Follow any appointment instructions from the practice
  • Join the appointment a few minutes early

Private and Convenient

A Comfortable Place to Discuss Your Health

Telehealth gives you the ability to speak with a provider from a private location that works for you.

Choose a quiet, well-lit space where you can talk openly without being interrupted. Use a reliable internet connection and a device with a working camera and microphone when video is required.

Before the page is published, Restore MD should add confirmed information about:

  • The telehealth platform
  • How patients receive appointment links
  • Whether every consultation requires video
  • How intake forms are completed
  • How technical support is provided
  • How the patient portal is accessed
  • Where the medication would come from
  • The practice’s privacy and security procedures

Do not describe the platform as HIPAA compliant until the platform and applicable agreements have been confirmed by the practice.

Common Questions

Questions About Telehealth in Florida

Telehealth allows a patient and healthcare provider to communicate remotely using technology such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer. The services available depend on the patient’s needs and whether virtual care is medically appropriate.

The terms are often used in similar ways. Telemedicine generally refers to medical services delivered remotely, while telehealth can describe a broader range of virtual healthcare activities.

The practice provides consultations related to hormone therapy, men’s hormone therapy and TRT, women’s hormone therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight loss, GLP-1 options, and other confirmed telemedicine services. Every service requires an appropriate medical evaluation.

The practice serves eligible patients located in Florida through telehealth. A patient’s location, provider licensing, and the medical appropriateness of virtual care determine whether a particular service can be provided.

A licensed provider may prescribe medication through telehealth when it is legally permitted and medically appropriate. A prescription is not guaranteed. The provider must first complete an appropriate evaluation.

You may need laboratory testing depending on the service you are exploring and your individual medical needs. Your provider will determine whether testing is appropriate and explain how to complete it.

You may need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a reliable internet connection, camera, microphone, and compatible web browser. The practice should provide specific access instructions before your appointment.

Confirm whether every initial consultation and follow-up appointment requires video. Some forms of telehealth care may require a live video connection based on medical, legal, or practice requirements.

No. Some concerns require an in-person examination, laboratory testing, imaging, procedures, urgent care, or emergency services. Your provider will explain when another type of care is more appropriate.

Eligible follow-up appointments may take place through telehealth. Follow-up care may include reviewing progress, discussing laboratory results, evaluating possible side effects, and making medically appropriate changes.

The patient portal is intended for established patients managing eligible refills, reorders, documents, forms, appointments, and practice communications. It is not an open public medication store.

Ashley Atkins is the primary patient-facing provider. She is supported by Dr. Jon Kimball and Dr. Kimball, a husband-and-wife physician team.
